SHARP is pleased to
offer our community partners advocacy trainings from the experts at
AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC). Trainings cover the areas of
general advocacy, operations, communications, political strategy,
grassroots mobilization, and public health. Each training can
be tailored to meet your needs in terms of time and level of detail.

Sex education
Future of Sex Education (FoSE)--a
project of Advocates for Youth, Answer, and SIECUS--seeks to
create a national dialogue
about the future of sex education, and to promote the
institutionalization of comprehensive sexuality education in public
schools. Here you will find documents
produced through FoSE that may assist you in your
state and local sex education efforts and/or in the preparation of
funding applications to the Office of Adolescent Health for its Teen
Pregnancy Prevention Initiatives. The website includes information
and resources about various aspects of sexuality education,
including the history of sex education; tips for sex education
advocacy; professional development opportunities for educators; and
sexuality education classroom resources like downloadable lesson
