TAEP is committed to bringing together advocates, consumers, health care providers and government leaders in support of initiatives that protect and promote access to affordable, high-quality health care for low-income people living with chronic illnesses and disabilities.

TAEP plays a leadership role in addressing emerging health care access opportunities and challenges by coordinating and informing the efforts of national, state and local community partners as they work to promote specific health care goals, including: reducing health disparities; increasing early screening; promoting linkage and engagement in care; supporting the integration of social determinants of health into health care financing and delivery reforms.
